Hrithik Roshan on ‘Koi… Mil Gaya’: ‘Rohit’ helped me reconnect with my innocence, vulnerabilities

New Delhi, Aug 8  It has been 20 years of sci-fi movie ‘Koi…Mil Gaya’, and the lead actor Hrithik Roshan says his character ‘Rohit’ helped him join together with his inside baby, and reconnect together with his innocence and vulnerabilities.

The film revolved round Rohit (Hrithik Roshan), a developmentally disabled man who contacts an extraterrestrial being (Jaadoo) together with his late father Sanjay’s (Rakesh Roshan) laptop. The movie follows his relationship with Nisha (Preity G Zinta), Rohit’s pal, who falls in love with him.

Reminiscing the reminiscences from the shoot of the film, Hrithik instructed IANS: ” ‘Koi…Mil Gaya’ helped me relive my childhood. Whereas enjoying Rohit’s character I linked with my inner-child, reconnected with my innocence and vulnerabilities, that’s what makes me nostalgic.”

The actor added that he undoubtedly misses ‘Jaadoo’ loads too.

“I feel Nisha as a personality was forward of its time, and Preity portrayed it superbly,” he shared.

The ‘Kaho Naa…Pyaar Hai’ fame actor stated his 23 years of journey has been very fulfilling, including that, “There aren’t any regrets, solely learnings and with every studying I’ve solely grown as an actor and human being.”

‘Koi…Mil Gaya’ was re-released within the theatres on August 4.

Directed and Produced by Rakesh Roshan, the flick starred Rekha, Johnny Lever, Rajat Bedi, Prem Chopra and baby artists Hansika Motwani, Anuj Pandit Sharma in pivotal roles.
